NICU babies celebrate Halloween with adorable costumes

[Oct. 27, 2020: Zoe Moore]

Babies at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare celebrated Halloween in style with an adorable photoshoot.

The hospital in Tallahassee, Florida, made the holiday special for families by dressing up babies in its newborn intensive care unit.

The NICU team worked hard in crafting costumes for the babies.

They created adorable costumes like Almond Joy and M&M candies by using felt.

"Having a baby in the NICU can be very stressful for new moms and families, especially in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Bringing the Halloween fun to these little ones and their parents is just one of the many ways our team works to normalize the NICU environment and keep families’ spirits high," the hospital said in a statement.

The festive photos have been shared over 8,000 times on the hospital's Facebook page.

How unBOOlievably cute!
